I like good dark romance but I picked up a Rina Kent for the first time today and was just 😧 the whole time. Cringe and also just so not the variety of dark romance that I like (where the setting/themes are dark but the romance itself is not horrible/ abusive). Never gonna judge anyone for what they read but some of it is sooooo not for me.

I haven’t read a good dark romance book in a while. I can handle the dark shit but for some reason they loveee other woman dramas and it irritates me.

#1 11hI personally love HD Carlton. But Rina Kent’s books make me curl up and die. Shantel Tessie’s books are good too. If there’s gonna be dark romance I need a little thrill to it too or a murder mystery or and actual plot 🤦🏻♀️

1 OP 8hSee I haven’t tried HD because I feel like it’ll fall into the variety of dark w the romance that I am just not a fan of. But I love Harley LaRoux’s books. It’s just hard finding what I like when dark romance means different things to different authors lol (kinda like any genre tbh) but to give the subgenre credit, I do find that most dark romance authors are really forthcoming with the CWs!
