i chew my nails a lot and really short would i still be able to get acrylics? i’ve never gotten my nails done because of it and i feel bad making someone work with such little nail

I would actually suggest getting them specifically for this reason. My nails are super brittle and flimsy like paper and will break down to nothing so easily but I got acrylics for years (now I do hard gel bc it holds up better against the chemicals I use in my job) and it was the only way I could grow my nails out. Now I can do anything w them and they’re all my natural nails, no tips at all!

I also did it bc I used to pick at the skin around my nails reallyyyyy bad but getting my nails done made them thicker and less sharp and I didn’t have the ability to obliterate my skin anymore lol, so it’s definitely helpful! Getting my nails done is like the one thing I splurge on regularly to feel feminine and pretty

omg thank you! ive been so insecure about it to go in because i chew them until i cant and then i chew my skin around it
