it’s not contact dermatitis; it’s an allergy developed over time by repeatedly applying nail enhancements too close to the skin. you need to either have a professional do it or research health and safety procedures, and leave enhancements off for several weeks to recover.

If you’re doing your nails yourself and still wanna have cutesy nails, use hema free base and top coat to essentially lock in the polish you’re allergic to. Also wear gloves when you are dealing with wet polish and if you’re doing tips get a nail stand so you don’t have to put any wet polish on your hands! I also developed really bad contact dermatitis and these things helped me soooo much I never get reactions anymore as long as I’m not touching any wet polish
