okay so these are gel x, which is basically a full coverage nail that you glue on and then you polish/decorate it. I’ve also done acrylic and polygel, acrylic is a bit more tedious to do on myself (imo) and polygel is an “easier” acrylic. I got most of my stuff from amazon like my drill, polishes, design tools, lamp, and a flash cure lamp

i literally just looked up on tiktok “DIY nails for beginners” and then started curating a list of things I needed and got them bit by bit. and i find watching tutorials of what i’m doing helps me a lot. oh and for longevity i’d definitely recommend a dehydrator and primer ! a lot of ppl don’t talk abt that. and a peel off base if you like switching your nails up alot so you’re not damaging your nails
