Iโ€™ve only gotten my nails done twice in my life because it seems so expensive and a luxury. What do yall spend on average per set and how often??

Ngl when I do more artsy sets they can be like $100 (AFTER tip), but doing just paint itโ€™s like $80 after tip (I tip my dude 25-30% every time tho!) and I go every 5-6 weeks. This is for the hard gel

I do press on nails! I can find good quality ones anywhere from 5-20 dollars and you can reuse them multiple times

Yeah i think it cost me like $100 for all the supplies but iโ€™ve done like 20 diff sets so its much cheaper in the long run

Yeah thatโ€™s 100% what I wanna do. Not getting them done by a nail tech doesnโ€™t mean theyโ€™ll be bad. People can learn as they go!

This is also pretty much the only extra self care I do too so I just budget for it every month

I just need to learn how to properly apply them because they usually fall off pretty easily when I put them on or they stick so well I canโ€™t get them off ๐Ÿ’€

Budgeting is good so as long as u can make it work within your income bracket, thatโ€™s great! (I desperately need to sort out mine lol)

I use the adhesive tabs and those work pretty well for me! I put them on before bed bc the longer you go without getting them wet the longer they stay on. then when you want to get them off just soak your hands in water and they'll loosen also some press on nails are really curved and just refuse to stay on most peoples nail beds so watch out for those
