Honestly the statistics show a lot of people don’t know the correct way to dispose of a tampon. Lots of people are told the wrong thing growing up or they don’t get any sort of info at all and just assume. We as a society act like periods are super taboo and it’s caused a huge lack of knowledge for many people.

Omg how do you dispose of them then?? The wrapper and applicator go in the trash bc they’re plastic but you flush the tampon itself, no? 🫣
