As a liberal, if billionaires didn’t exist then the government would have a monopoly on real power. It is a good thing how there is no cap on the wealth a person can obtain. Having rich people to aspire to outcompete motivates people from all demographics

I mean the government should be the only one to have power, that’s why it was created, the problem is when rich billionaires have power that no one wants them to have. People should be governed by elected officials not by the super rich
