Fire and Blood is being adapted, Dunk and Egg is being adapted, Main series got adapted except the last two books, but AFFC and ADWD both require the set up of the first three books to make any sense. Are you suggesting they'll adapt the worldbook? The thing is Hollywood writers are bad at writing, so they need well written material to adapt and the Worldbook isn't a narrative work.

Aegons's conquest makes some sense, I don't think Robert's Rebellion can be adapted until the books are done though because the most rich narrative veins are still mysteries for the most part (Tourney at Harrenhall, Tower of Joy, Ashara Dane's death, Dany's fostering in who knows where, etc.) I think Aegon's conquest is a bad idea for similar reasons. I just love the world too much and really hate to see hacks messing things up

Maybe if the hyper focus on one character. TBH I think Dunk and Egg are the best suited for film adaptation since it's a picaresque story and a movie could focus on one to two events

The only thing we know about it is that it’s "extending the Game of Thrones franchise" so based off of that I find a remake of the series highly unlikely since that wouldn’t be expanding anything. And don’t even get me started on that dumbass Harry Potter show😭
