U.S involvement in Venezuela is truly a blessing. Whether if you support Trump or not, besides the profit they search, just getting rid of the political leaders will change everything for good. Venezuela kind of seems stuck on time (at least for the new generations) and economy is one of the factors of why this is happening. It will certainly take some good decades to recover but it can happen… unless more corrupted or chavistas take the lead😔
“We are on the threshold of victory and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to achieve Freedom and democracy. I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!” - Tweeted by her today 😵💫
Learn how political parties work. Venezuela is a genuine dictatorship. Venezuela has no checks and balances. The ruling party controls the courts decisions, the election system, any anyone who opposes can be sent to jail or exiled from the country. Venezuela is also known for torturing and arresting their journalists and protestors. Millions of Venezuelans have fled the country due to unlivable conditions and inflation rising so much that it caused shortages in food, water, medicine, etc.
Is that so? Do you think it’s perhaps because Trump is extremely malleable to foreign flattery and she could really use powerful Allie’s to yk keep her from getting whacked and maybe give her the Argentinian treatment (Trump just bailed out the Argentinian ag industry and economy with $20 BILLION who then stole a bunch of suffering US soybean farmers most important contracts)
except it isn’t really a free election when Trump is Gerrymandering red states, so republicans get “more” of a vote while also deporting more immigrants in blue states again to give republicans “more” of a vote in the Electoral College, which is another reason it’s not really a free election. Our votes aren’t directly voting for the president.
not technically. you’re getting too ramped up lmao. i don’t like him - voted biden and harris - and im active on this thread, you can see my replies. He wants to be a dictator, he’s not there yet. If people keep bending, we will get t a place where the US will never be able to fully recover. But time will tell
Buddy she pretty explicitly said she dedicated it to US power and their support for the Venezuelan opposition. Don’t be stupid if it was Biden in office she would’ve thanked Biden. She’s thanking: 1. The political power of the US 2. The military presence of the US 3. Most importantly the American greenback She doesn’t gaf if Trump lives or dies
What disturbs me is that you have so little understanding of foreign policy and yet you speak so loudly about. Trump good=Venezuela happy😃 No, the Venezuelan opposition got a moment in the sun for several reasons 1. Safer for the Nobel panel than real geopolitical concerns like Russia or Israel (they’re not magic they follow global politics) 2. Venezuela is a courting technique for Trump. Give it someone who’s sole benefactor is the USA. Literally 3. Burn Trump just a little
Why racist? I get the imperialism side, but without foreign intervention it is really hard for Venezuela to get “free”. And of course that US had a negative impact… as many countries did in the past (eyes on past), in Venezuela’s case it was mainly because of Pérez’s dictatorship. Different situations, here US is trying to fight the dictatorship (for its own interest) but it doesn’t matter at this point. If that’s the only way, we gotta take it
I dont believe Venezuela is a dictatorship. The people support the Bolivarian Revolution. The rich people oppose it because they lost their power. The West and Western think-tanks have “announced” Venezuela is a dictatorship, as an excuse to invade. Because they want Venezuela’s oil
Oh shit, so that’s basically why you oppose my argument. Yours were pretty solid, though this part breaks all the game for you unfortunately. The most ridiculous statement I have ever fucking read, YOU are not like US, I lived that shit, they were killing protestants, 98% ppl was poor, 300% inflation, my family was threatened by the government and the police. I could have been killed. YOU PLEASE do not insult my life, I care more than you would ever do, pedazo de volao
politics. trump is very ego driven and can also get mad on a whim. he was campaigning for himself to get the peace prize so if she doesn’t dedicate it to him maybe he gets salty and lashes out. her politics in venezuela are so much more important than the prize and the risk of trump somehow siding with the current Venezuelan dictatorship would be a disaster. it would probably never happen but maybe her dedicating it to him could help her get back into office in a US allyship sort of way
anyone who acts like they truly know anyone’s motives is lying to you, so who knows, but that’s my best guess based off everything i’ve read and been able to ascertain. but yeah the truth is that she almost definitely didn’t dedicate it to him out of actual admiration for him, it’s all political tactics
