You clearly have not listened to her music or followed her journey then. You can say you don’t like her music, but to deny her influence and iconic genre shifts is just ignorant. People only see TS as a just a white girl monolith and don’t care to look further. I think she’s not the greatest of vocalists, but she definitely has broken boundaries. That’s not even a question.

It’s not the bar. But the fact that she has received a lot of critical acclaim, has made a huge influence on the next generation of pop musicians we hear today, and is quite literally one of the bestselling artists of all time, I beg to differ. I bet you have barely listened to any of her work and base her solely off the hits. I will admit that after evermore she did fall off.
