Has anyone fasted for 3 days? I want to do it but I’ve never fasted for more than 24 hours so I’m not sure what to expect.

I’ve done it, it’s honestly not worth it. Once you reach ketosis you’re basically already done, so it’s just feeling hungry and shitty for 3 days. You need to prioritize drinking electrolytes and you should be good. If you do, consult doctor and be safe

why would you do that? there’s no health benefit to it… in fact it actively harms your body by activating stress responses

It’s rough asf if you have to work a job that requires anything physical out of you make sure it’s on the first day because after that you’re gonna be miserable to be around, when I did mine I had to work on both of the days and I was a terrible human to everyone around me honestly

I’d look into this with a doctor OP. You can get stones in the gallbladder. When people fast long enough, bile isn’t produced and the gallbladder needs the bile to process minerals. Without it, minerals turn into stones. Some people have a risk to this and others are not.

A simple google search will tell you you’re incredibly wrong. If you’re uneducated on a topic, which you clearly are, then don’t comment. This is for the people that HAVE done this for the benefits.

Are you slow? Fasting is not an eating disorder. Like I said above, if you’re not educated on a topic then stfu. This is for those that ARE.

I’m just trying to reset my body for the health benefits but also for my spiritual journey. I’ll probably start with 48 hours first then try to make it to the 72 hour mark.

I’ve already talked with my doctor. She cleared me. Just said I have to stay hydrated and if I feel dizzy to add sea salt to my water for electrolytes.

But I will ofc listen to my body during the process as well

That is good OP :) Fasting does have a lot of benefits but I read 2 times a year for a week each time is optimal. Clears out the toxic proteins stuck in the body when fasting forces the body to use it as energy. Clears all kinds of junk.

I got one health tip. You can chew raw ginger and hold in the mouth for like 30 seconds and eat it. It’s magic all the way through the body where ever it goes. Kills the bad bacteria and keeps the good. The aroma goes into the nose and throat to clear up flu symptoms. Natural antibiotic for the gut and helps stomach lining. Also natural mouthwash for tooth enamel.

It works. I haven’t gotten sick. I had a runny nose and was coughing when people were sick around me but i was the last sick. The ginger nuked all the symptoms on the surface within seconds but i held for like a minute letting it clear my nose. It stayed that way the whole day. Much better than ricola or cough drops.

Also when you do this daily, it kills the bacteria making it less likely to get sick. So any flu or cough has a harder time to spread that way.

Yeah I’ve heard it’s great for that! I’ve recently started eating sea moss. Ever tried that?

I haven’t but I’ll read into it. Sounds intriguing.
