Can I ask the parallels? Bc to me one feels more like community and celebration, and the other like mocking, but I also don’t know much about the history of minstrel shows so I could be missing something

I mean completely objectively without taking into account how the people doing drag view drag, they kinda are just making caricatures of women and sort of making fun of them.
