Yes. It’s unsupportive of you from your friend. It means they don’t care enough about you to also remove a bad person from their life. It’s like being friends with (extreme example incoming) your best friends moms murderer. They ask you to cut them off because that person hurt them a bunch. But because that person didn’t directly hurt you you don’t see why it matters or that it doesn’t affect you.
