ofc I’m thankful that I’m even receiving a gift! but if you’re parading around saying you love giving gifts to people idk what that says about the relationship with me, especially when you consider me as a close friend

Im on the opposite spectrum, if im given a gift i expect that you want something in return (totally toxic ik) gift giving is kinda strange to me cuz i came up in a family that didnt celebrate christmas and my dad didnt even wanna celebrate birthdays at one point because they were “against religion” blah blah blah. Anywho ik this didnt help but ik i always feel weird about gifts in general now days
