i see what you’re saying but i do think validation from strangers is still impactful. people are more likely to share things with strangers that they might not even with friends. my original point when i asked if their question was fr was because of course it’s hard to quit, it’s not as simple as just deciding to not wear crew neck shirts anymore. it is a daily decision, even minute by minute decision, fueled by chemical addiction
Though I haven’t vaped, I used to smoke cigarettes pretty frequently and I didn’t like what it was doing to my throat/lungs. So, I decided I was going to cut back. Haven’t smoked in months, and I didn’t need to tell anyone online about it, just my gf and my roommate who are both still smokers. If you really want to do something, I think you can.
