It’s because of the screen, see guys who dm creepy/secual things without consent know they are going to strike far more often then get “lucky” however there’s no down side to striking out. So they essentially just roll the dice until they get the result they want and ignore the failures.

Sad. They need to stop playing numbers games and learn how to be seductive and naturally roll into foreplay.

Or maybe, just maybe, men need to stop hiring on women unprompted, there are countless dating sites and social events where women frequent with the express intention of flirting. Being online on general shouldn’t be an excuse to hit on women, save it for the designated apps

If I went around acting like nobody should hit on me unless I prompt them, me and most of the people I know would be forever alone

There is no reason to put that much effort in since these apps have basically legalized prostitution. Now you can hook up for breakfast sex and meet up with 2 different people for lunch & dinner. lol

That’s not an excuse? If you want to hit on people, and get hit on, go to daiting websites. That’s what they are there for. But social media is a place for people to be social, discuss hobbies. It shouldn’t be an unsafe place for women.

Flirting is a part of being social. Your gatekeeping is weird and not at all representative of what everyone wants. If a guy wants to flirt with me, he should, anywhere. Only I want him to be good at it and if I’m not interested I want him to simply move on from it. Unsafe place? You can literally block anyone you want at any time you want. You’re seriously trying to act like being inconvenienced or annoyed is somehow a risk to my safety. Rather silly.

Social media should be a place where women get consistently sexually harassed sent unwanted dick pics, get flirted on im creepy ways, online stalked, or anything else of the nature that’s all too common. It’s weird you’d support these behaviors? And I’m not saying fitting should be banned on social media, im saying men shouldn’t flirt with strangers, in creepy groups sexual ways, without first talking to a girl to make sure she’s feeling the same level of attraction he is.
