Mmm you see it doesn't depend on who it is said to and whether they get offended or not It's about whether or not saying "no offense" actually guarantees that, no matter who you say it to, it takes the edge off the statement. Which is just not true, bc the most sensitive mf in the world will still get offended lol

It doesn’t take the edge off though it’s just a way to try and protect yourself when you say something like “no offense but xyz your a bitch” esp when ydk that person
