The job market is extremely bad right now for everyone. I have 8 years of experience and was laid off 8 months ago and I simply can’t get a job - I even cut my salary offers back by 30k and can’t do it. Now I’m at 50k. I lost my apartment and the vast majority of my savings and I’m at home again. It will take me 3-4 to recover at this point, and that’s if I don’t move out. The economy is totally cooked.
