I don’t know if it is part of it, but as someone who grew up in the Midwest the only Mango I had tried was not pleasant. (They were in fruit salads I think). After traveling and having real Mango things, I realized Mango is delicious and what I had before wasn’t ripe. Most of us are just not familiar with it and don’t know what we are missing.

I guess I have a new thing to worry about missing when I move. I can find all of that except mango pie where I live, but the latino community is strong here so I guess that's why?

this isn’t something mango flavored per se but i got a pack of dark chocolate covered mangoes from costco a couple weeks ago and it was one of the best things i ever had in my life 😭
