Follow the healing instructions they give you religiously. I was kind of lazy about flushing with the syringes immediately after eating and and I was vaping and exercising a lot, and it took me way longer to heal than it would’ve if I’d just listened to the damn doctor.

have something to take for nausea. prep a nest before you go, like the couch or a bed, with everything you need beside it so you can camp there for a few days

No smoking for a few weeks or you get dry socket

Just relax. take the meds they give you. Follow the instructions they give. It was a walk in the park for me. Felt normal in less than 2 days tbh

Soft foods like applesauce, jello, Mac and cheese. Clean your sockets. No straws, or anything that requires sucking. Ice cream 🫡

I didn’t have to bad of a problem! Some swelling but not much and I kept ice on my face here and there when it hurt and mainly took ibuprofen or Tylenol. Also keep from using a straw it can give you dry socket as well!

Prepare soft, drinkable foods you enjoy now. Do not vape anything. Stay ahead of schedule with pain pills.

Make sure someone is available to transport you if you get put under anesthesia, have soft foods and ice packs on hand, and make sure you have syringes to irritate the area during the healing process

For the really sore times, keep ice on and I honestly napped with ice packs on as well. Get multiple so you always have a cold one in the freezer when you need to switch out.

Yeah I was like hardcore sobbing as a 19 year old. I can’t wear my retainer now because sometimes my teeth click after they’ve been shifted in the night and it reminds me of the teeth breaking so much. Make sure they put you under. I was listening to music on full blast and I think the impact from the breaking tooth is what made me hear it

Flushing syringes? Wtf did they do to you? Had yours not come out at all??

My wisdom teeth were almost entirely still lodged in the gum, so when they were removed I had to flush the empty sockets with a syringe

Oh I just had to do this mouthwash to flush it all out. OH MY GOSH OP If you get mouthwash, don’t use it more than necessary cause it stains your teeth so badly!!

Yeah basically what #2 said! Mine were still in my gums and 3 of them were impacted so they were pretty deep wounds. I had to figure out how to flush the sockets out with the syringes properly, I kept accidentally sticking the tip of the syringe too far into the socket and basically re-opening the wound just trying to flush it out thoroughly😩
