Yep, someone on insta said it’s like looking in a mirror and related it to narcissis that Greek myth abt the guy who stares at his reflection. It’ll tell you what you want to hear and agree with you, and tell you what you want to hear. And if it doesn’t have an answer it’ll make one up. Really interesting how that works

Nothing wrong with humans vs AI, I've just noticed it seems chat gpt is by design, a doormat who never challenges your thinking.

Yea that was a problem before but apparently with its newest version it’s supposed to be less of a yes man

Have you read anything about ChatGPT psychosis? As a psych major you might find the literature interesting but the short version is that ChatGPT is able to provide affirmative reinforcement to any idea in a way that seems reasonable. Long conversations with it have a history of leading previously healthy people down rabbit holes and even triggering psychotic episodes.
