Show much did you pets personality change after you got them spayed or neutered? My puppy gets neutered Thursday and he is a freaking menace atm and I’m really hoping this calms him down 😭

my cat was an absolute menace and she weighed 4.8lbs at about a year old when the vet finally approved the spay because they wanted her to weigh 5lbs. She had snuck out & was pregnant so the surgery was really hard on her and she barely moved for months & got up to 9lbs. She has her energy back but doesn't go "demon mode" anymore or sneak out and she's not so chubby anymore.

Very much so! Especially if it’s a male getting neutered! It really dials down his territoriality and hormone driven energy. Good choice. 👍🏻

However! Big tip: watch his weight! After getting neutered, they tend to gain weight due to hormonal changes and reduced activity.
