My cat passed away. Im dealing with it so so hard. anyone have any tips for dealing with grief?

God that sucks. First commenter is right on; think of how good a life you gave them. They’re gone from your life but you were never gone from theirs. That’s pretty special, from the cat’s perspective

I wish I knew what to say. I’m sorry this hurts so much. You did everything to give him a wonderful life and made his life worth living.

No. After my cat passed I was a mess and lived/slept in the basement for 3 months.

Think about the good life you gave your cat. Your cat must have enjoyed living with you and spending time with you and playing with you. Your cat lived a good life and they are probably satisfied with it. While it’s sad that they passed away, what matters the most was how much they enjoyed their life with you

Thank you, he was the happiest boy ever. He passed away with a brain bleed he apparently had since he was a kitten. It hurts my heart deeply because he was so special to me

Thank you :( at times i felt like i failed him by not being there as much with my busy work schedule, but my mother and family were always nurturing him even in his last weeks
