sounds like he just isn’t totally sure and you’re wanting to like hammer out every detail. but why does it matter if he’s with you now besides maybe the last time he saw her and if you were talking to him yet

Being honest. I get upset when these new details come up and he reexplains the situation and says it was so insignificant he doesn’t remember. Like once he said he talked to this girl for a few weeks during summer 2023. Then weeks later in a convo I find out he actually had gotten with this same girl in 2021 which he didn’t mention that the first time around. Yesterday I find out it wasn’t summer 2023 but rather September 2023 (which matters bc that’s when I happy birthday myself back in to (2)

His life. He said that they saw each other again at Oktoberfest in 2023 and that’s how they started talking again. In ANOTHER conversation I make the connection that he went to Oktoberfest for his birthday and he revealed he kissed this girl at Oktoberfest (which he hadn’t said before). So now the dates are all messed up. Is this normal?? Or is he just a liar

if it matters that much to you, just straight up ask him for all the info/dates and tell him if you find out otherwise down the line, you'll consider it him lying. alternatively, it was two years ago, so it might just be best to try to get over it. up to you.
