So that’s not me because I have gay friends but I can only assume it’s just an implicit homophobia they aren’t even aware of, like maybe thwy were just raised a certain way that caused some unseen fears, or they’re just toxic men

When I was in my 20's it creeped me out because I thought they had intentions and that freaked me out. Now that Im older most of my close friends are gay; they are the best friends and on the rare occasion one makes a pass it's as simple as saying sorry dude Im straight. No awkwardness or anything about it. Fact is my gay friends are more fun than the straights, more supportive, and always down to introduce me to hotties and love to play wingman for the token straight guy in the friend group.
