At the end of the day, you will have to live your life. By allowing them to dictate everything and not living truly to yourself then you will be left in misery even if it brings you financial gain. You have to choose what is most important to you. Perhaps what you want to do is financially stable but not normal for your parents…you have the right to discuss it with them and as your parents they should also listen.
