I work in tech. H1bs are taking all the jobs. It sounds racist to say but the fact is H1b is modern day slavery. It’s cheaper and once they’re hired they can’t just quit. Side B to this problem is racism: H1b leadership only hires H1b.

Foreign work visa classification. Companies can say the labor pool isn’t qualified in the US and post for the same job overseas and bring a foreign worker to the US.
