
Right, but it wouldn’t just manifest as acid reflux. Gas and bloating from lactose intolerance can trigger acid reflux, but they’d notice those signs, and other GI symptoms. Lactaid won’t help with dairy induced acid reflux. They need heart burn medication to address it (which is important to reduce esophageal damage) or they can reduce the trigger (eat less, or again try skim/reduced fat dairy as the fat content can be a trigger)
