We being a euphemism for "general direction of human action" I mean it in the same sense that general statements like: "we are destroying the environment" or "we need to increase awareness of <group> issues" or "we should all really be drinking more water"

Awareness of human trafficking has increased dramatically over the years. Humans are quickly advancing, there’s already a 24/7 Tesla diners with robot servers. The world is quickly evolving.

The Queen is dead, Canada has a new PM, the world is changing very rapidly and in a positive direction. I don’t see a decline in anything except the negatives.

It's surprising to me that you consider those to be significant improvements. There sure have been improvements. I'd disagree that automation, a dead monarch (followed by an inherited throne), and a regular election/change of PM in Canada are hallmarks of improvement. Some improvements have been: lower rates of violent crime across US
