Anyone else think acting like Islam is uniquely sexist while ignoring how Christianity has/is used for similar things is a lie? But so is acting like things like the hijab are a choice for everyone everywhere because it is for you is one too?

Basically people shouldn’t make Islam uniquely good or bad. People CAN and absolutely have used Islam to justify sexism or the mistreatment of women. Just because a specific Muslim hasn’t experienced that in their family doesn’t mean that’s the case for everyone everywhere. But non-Muslims shouldn’t be acting like other religions ESPECIALLY Christianity don’t do the same. It’s not uniquely “bad” and some act like Islam is while not being critical of their own religion.
