i still call my mom “mommy” bc she still calls her mom that. it’s a little tradition that’s been carried down, and it’s normal and kind of a term of endearment in our family. with the daddy mommy discourse popularity recently, is it too weird now?
My daughter only called me mom up until this year and she’s about to be 12 and now it’s mommy only. I love it and hope she does that into her adult years ❤️❤️😭

I loved the new Little Mermaid but fucking hate that they changed her calling King Trident from Daddy to Father. Most likely because the word Daddy is sexualized now in days

This is sweet. I always used to call my mom mommy when I was a kid since that’s what she called herself and then when I was going through puberty and growing up she told me she hoped I never start calling her mom so I still always call her mommy
