like i kinda agree w this post but if ur talking about Christianity no one is forced into anything. it’s called free will. maybe your referring to Catholicism? having a relationship with the Lord is a RELATIONSHIP not religion. those are 2 different things

Buddy if you think it was consensual to convert for them, you need to read history. Have you ever heard of Native American reeducation schools? Have you ever heard of the crusades? The Saxon wars? Do you think slaves who were taken from their homes and brought to the US became Christian because they wanted to? No, they had no choice. You seriously need to look into the history of your religion because you couldn’t be more wrong.

I get that you’re trying to separate the belief of the Lord into a religion, but you can’t separate the fact that someone is believing in that God because they were forcibly converted.

maybe and tbh that’s a false representation of The Lord Jesus Christ. it was NEVER supposed to be like that. the person is supposed to use their FREE WILLLL to chose that. obviously that’s messed up being forced to do something you don’t wanna do.

Okay, fine, by that same logic you can’t know that your religion has any validity because you weren’t there when the book was written. to make a long story short bc from how ur talking i say you have a pretty strong negative view on christianity as a whole, it truly ties back to free will, the act of good and evil. all of us, people who choose to believe in Christ and who don’t were born from our mothers EVIL. we have the option to act on the evil or try to change for the better. some do acts SOOOOO HORRIBLE ( hitler, slave owners, etc etc. ) the ur question of “ why would you God let that happen is valid” bc why? -pt.1

God didn’t make us to believe in him BY DEFAULT. he didn’t want us to choose him forcefully he wanted us to choose him of our own free will. so with that free will of yes and no. people do evil things. God dosent like evil, once Jesus comes back, all evil WILL be punished once and for all. but God isn’t gonna force someone to do something they don’t wanna do. Satan is the god of ALL evil he’s the reason why bad things happen. But no one sees that or tries to understand that so they blame God.

He didn’t really give people a whole lot of free will when he flooded the planet or when he killed the first born sons of Egypt. What about infants who died before being baptized? He doesn’t really give them a whole lot of free will when he sends them to hell. And don’t tell me some nonsense about him testing us or everything being in his plan or any of that, because that’s not free will either. If you’re right and your God gave you free will, I’m afraid you’ve severely wasted it.
