How do you get started in becoming celibate? I’m in a relationship but sex always ends up hurting me emotionally so I’d just like to quit at least for a while and focus on other things. How do I start

I’ve been celibate my entire life. It just comes down to self control. If I ever have a really intense urge while I’m with her I just take a step back, take my arm off her (or whatever kind of physical contact is happening) and give myself a second to breathe. Not making out helps, because that just opens the door for urges to take over.

I have no problems with sharing stuff about myself, it’s just I won’t get super specific. It’s the point of this app to remain anonymous and I also know I won’t always be viewed positively for some of the stuff I post so I need to be careful
