In theory it could be classified as fraud, but this happens all the time and there's only 2 indictments this year. That's for big cases, that being over 500k for example. So technically yes, but I guarantee you won't. As long as some dumb mf doesn't send you a million dollars.

Also think about all the people this happens to that don't know they're getting scammed, if they're initiating it in the first place, they probably aren't going to figure it out.
