That’s really good that you and your friends dont use the rather violent language when referring to the people in your life 🫶 But the reality is a good number of people, especially men do use crack and other similar words when talking about a hookup/gf/wife. As you can see in the other comments other men admit they dont use more nurturing words because its seen as corny or weird

not only are people having less sex... there are fewer divorces (more stable, lasting relationships), women are still offered fewer opportunities when perceived as promiscuous (not rewarded), millions of people wait for marriage (sex is not the foundation). nah this is absolutely a disingenuous, cynical, manufactured moral outrage

Hookups are a different thing because the abstract acts people want can happen independently and do not need to be from the hookup culture. Before the hookup culture was all that ways if they want just pleasure. Now it’s an internet culture that seeks abstract acts that they use as a drug to get their high. In other words, people just want their drug and use people as a resource but in a very abstract way.
