Yes. The military counts on underdeveloped frontal lobes for the majority of recruits. Very few rational fully grown adults would sign up for that

and child marriage is okay, but having sex or having a drink isn't? the age for marriage in some states last i check was as low as 14

We do not a 17 year old can enlist as long as they turn 18 before the end of basic training.

According to the federal government, 18-20 year olds are too young to possess handguns and machine guns. What justification does the federal government have for putting handguns and machine guns into the hands of those they themselves deem to young to have them?
