bro are u kidding me? no periods or fear of pregnancy, i get taken more seriously in academic and professional contexts, i can feel safer being out at night, socially acceptable and not sexual to be shirtless, gender pay gap works in my favor, i could go on as to how being a (cis) man would be easier lol.
This is pretty well cited in the trans community. Partially why they are more female trans then male. There's also a book, “self made man” where the author went undercover for a year as a man. She said women are curl, men have small social circles and no public outlets, and the pressure to perform comes from everywhere. She unalived herself shortly after finishing the experiment
never kill yourself! as a trans man you can now start ur own cool random business and be self employed selling t-shirts wayyy overpriced that ppl will buy anyways cause of ur charm and cause ur a guy 🙂↕️ you could start day trading and shit and go viral on tiktok making random videos talking about the open and closing markets n shit 🤧 and like could i do that as a woman? sure, but my knowledge would be questioned cause im a woman but as a man everything you say is the truth you know?
ngl if i were a man for a year and got a girl pregnant id either pay for her abortion or would be a dead beat dad, and i dont condone being a deadbeat u know? like thats fucked up behavior and you SHOULD be in ur child's life fr but i feel like id be the type of man to just send u money and provide nothing else unfortunately 🤧 good thing im not a man ig
Yeah but you get ridiculed for liking anything seen as feminine, you are expected to be stoic all the time, to be on top of things all the time. You can’t play with young children without being suspected with as a creep, your don’t talk about feelings with your friends unless they’re super close, etc…it’s different struggles for sure. It’s definitely hard to be a woman too (I know because I am one 😭).
yeah for sure all of those things really suck and would be hard. at the same time tho, assuming the only thing different abt me is being a cis man instead of a cis woman, im still bi and in queer spaces and could be subject to a less intense version of masculinity. i also wonder if i would have gotten my adhd diagnosed sooner (it’s under diagnosed in girls) and the help i needed to be as successful as possible in middle-high school if i was born male. patriarchy fucks over everyone :/
Hmm. Your comment here is in conflict with your earlier comment. Man to man; you can’t be alone. You only need one solid MF in your corner, but you cannot be alone for too long. Even if it’s connecting with a stranger online gaming you need to pull yourself out of your comfort zone and make the first step.
