listen, im not one to hate on what people want in a relationship, but you just became an adult, and he was born in the late 1990s. on a very thin, technical line, it’s legal, but I just want you to be cautious before you end up in something dangerous.

As a 26 year old, that dude has no business pursuing a serious romantic relationship with you. That’s just way too much of a gap in lived experience. I know you’re not a child, but like if I found out a 27 year old I knew was dating a barely legal woman, I’d never voluntarily speak to him again.

Like, I know gen z has a tendency to go “oh no not an AGE GAP” and it’s like 20 and 22. This isn’t that. Either that guy has huge financial and social leverage over you, or he’s made mistakes/bad decisions that have put him financially and socially about 9 years behind the 8 ball.
