
You have to burn more calories than you consume, if you do that you will lose weight. So yeah, exercise at least 3x a week, track calories and then once you know your daily maintenance, eat about 150 calories less than that a day CONSISTENTLY. You can’t do well one day and binge the next, you’ll just end up gaining weight like that
Track your calories for a week or two, just to see how much you’re eating now. Make adjustments from there to help maintain a deficit. Running really isn’t all that great for weight loss, but if it gets you moving enjoy. If you’re maintains a healthy deficit and still not seeing results then it’s time to discuss with your doctor and look into any underlying health problems that could contribute you ineffective weight loss
