Why is the response to racism EXACTLY like family guys episode s16.(ep 6) everyone but the racist gets shunned and I find it really irritating how much that happens irl. Granted “it’s just a joke” is bad. But why do ppl get so sensitive to NON racists

Couldn’t finish but essentially the whole family was getting shunned for what Brian did and I really urks me how people treated them. Like they can control how a family member acts!?

I’ve always had an issue with family taking strays when they shouldn’t have too. Ntm mob mentality IS JUST AS BAD. I don’t mind letting a group do something for me if I have no opinion but if it’s not my values I’m not gonna let myself be brainwashed like that 🫠

we don’t get to escape it, it’s built into our psychology and survival instincts. “i’m not gonna let myself be brainwashed like that” oh boy. as much as we could all hope we come to an objective conclusion every time. we just are not capable of functioning that way

Maybe not every time but in moral values if you force yourself and have the boundaries. You can say no to being brainwashed 🥲 you just gotta be aware of the people around u and what they say but most of this world and newer gen’s are the exact opposite 😭
