she doesn’t want a relationship but she wants attention from you and that closeness that’s now threatened by this girl. like some of that perceived threat could likely be previously seeing guy friends abandon their female friends when they get girlfriends, doesn’t necessarily mean she’s interested in you. i’d suggest trying reassure her that the friendship isn’t in danger if you still want to maintain the friendship with her it’s probably more nuanced than that but that’s a girl’s take on it

Agreed with this. She was flattered you liked her, and now that it’s over she’s jealous that you’re interested in someone else. Not very mature imo but those are the reasons
