Yes. Capitalism has propelled even the lowest levels of capitalist society to have access to standards of living and technological development that not even the kings or emperors of the rest of human history could fathom. Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other single force in history. Capitalism has granted unprecedented social mobility to every member of society.
It certainly has flaws, especially when people deify it and set humanity up as a sort of homo-economicous whose only value is as an economic being. But that isn’t an argument for systems of economic organization which have historically proved to do the exact same thing, plus led to the suffering and deaths of hundreds of millions.
