Any tips on how to get my cat to use her new automatic litter box? She used it once when I first got it then saw it move when it dumped and now she is scared of it. For the last day I have been finding her pee/poop around the house and idk what to do😭

Poop in the box in front of her as a visual demonstration and to show that she’s not alone.

Idk can you program it to dump at a certain time? IK cats have weird schedules but maybe it’ll work if she’s not around when it dumps

I enlisted an older cat that WILL use it and had her watch him then set it to manual clean mode (idk why I didn’t do that before) and she still hasn’t used it but has walked closer to it

Ah ok I bet she’ll come around. Any cat I’ve known has been very cautious when adjusting to new environments
