By “ceiling to the first floor” do you mean the 2nd floor? Or like just the drywall on the ceiling?

The first n Basement mostly contains most of the weight I built houses for 6 years in my opinion I’d say first n basement bc the beam posts are in the basement so it depends what kind of house you ahve

But the foundations n beams take 75 percent of the weight of the home depending on the design. N size
