No, mine was a breeze. First one the actual insertion and what not took about 8 minutes and the second one was about 5. Paperwork for both was equally as long first time bc it was my first and second bc I had to sign several releases to drive myself home. Hurt 2/10 in the moment, more uncomfy and afterward probably a 3-4/10 just bc I hate lingering uncomfy
