Any workout advice for a woman who is skinny but fat? Like I’m very thin, I just have annoying ass fat that I can’t get rid of. Nothing wrong with this physique but I personally want to improve my body composition to be a bit leaner.

I second the person who said squats. It’ll help tone your glutes. Is it just your butt that you’re feeling self conscious about?

If you put on more muscle your body will naturally burn more calories just to maintain that muscle, there isn’t any specific workout that will get rid of specific areas of fat, but more muscle and a healthy and targeted diet will get you where you want to be

I’m pretty much in a deficit. I think i was too much in a deficit previously. What would you recommend when I’m supposed to be doing 1,500 daily? Considering cardio daily.

Because I’m not looking to lose any more weight, I’m already on the edge of being underweight.

Thank you! I’ll try the squats. It’s mostly every area of my body that could use some improvement (fat in exchange for muscle) but particularly my stomach (above the belly button) region. I do abs, but I haven’t seen much results unless I’m doing abs wrong.

You can’t target fat to lose but you can target muscles to grow. So staying in a deficit and squats and stuff can help burn overall fat and build glutes, quads, etc. cardio is really good too just in general for your body

well if that’s the case and you want to lose fat in a specific area that unfortunately just comes down to genetics (as far as i know)

Ooo thanks! So high resistance training is still okay? Just work out all groups evenly?

Yes, resistance training is better than cardio for muscle gain and weight loss, but still get some cardio in for your heart and make sure to switch between low weight-heigh rep days and high weight-low rep days to give your muscles endurance while still increasing strength and mass
