I understand (sorta) if I was asking him for money and shit. But I’ve only asked for a iPad for Christmas and 50 bucks for my hair (got both). He asks for lunch money gas money, uber money for HIS BROTHER and he wants me to buy him vapes. He asked me when am I gonna take him out and I just looked at him

To sum up your confusion the alcoholic(#1) didn’t show any flags until the second year into dating. The money guy (#2) didn’t show any flags until 2 months into talking. We are not together yet (probably ever)
