Women got plus-sized models and plus-sized mannequins while men see the push to be in shape as a sign to go to the gym more. Both genders are told to get in shape men see it as motivation, women see it as a attack. Idk what's your on about tbh

Medical issues come from being as skinny as they try to be 😭 Like a natural body weight thats not deathly skinny and not walmart scooter level is hot asf, having some thickness aint hurt NOBODY

Yes, never said 'skinny,' just that some people have different levels of thickness in the green range, depending on their height and genes.

I can tell you’re a little bigger, so you went straight to super skinny girls who are having medical issues as well. To relate to your issues.

I agree, but this person doesn't seem to be lean if they're bringing up thickness, that's where my brain went

You can be in shape without being stick thin or looking like a ripped superhero, who’s saying you need to go to the gym and do all that?

You completely missed the point OP is saying its some mass pushed agenda for women to be skinny when clearly it's the opposite when the biggest corporations and social media push body positivity aka bigger women it's definitely not pushed on men to be like that. I never advocated for stick thin women or superhero ripped but it's clearly motivation for men and women see it as a attack.

In general, overweight women are criticized by society (both men and women) than overweight men are. I think the reason body positivity for women is pushed so much is because it’s already so normalized for men, and also because it’s mostly women defending other women, I don’t see a lot of men who are willing to support other men in a similar way

It's not at all normalized for men. It's quite literally more normal for women in media, in modeling, in advertising. Women also according to the CDC have a higher amount of cases of obesity and severe obesity than men . Women even encourage other women to celebrate their weight. Men however discourage it which further proves my point that it women being encouraged to be crazy skinny is not what is happening today, And I’m not saying it should ,women have children which leads to weight gain.
