I have a 2019 Elantra. very solid car. Like 40+mpg on highways and has never been under 30 in the city so far. Sports mode is fun and you feel in control of the car. They can last well into 200k miles as well.

Thank you for letting me know :). I heard lots of reports of them having bad engines. Have you had any experiences like that?

I’ll tell you this. We bought a brand new 2018 Elantra. Went through 2 sisters and me and now my brother in law has in. If not for some lady rear ending me at a light I’d still be driving that car. I drove it from Nebraska to Kansas every other week. Did oil changes every 5000-7000 miles. I will not lie to you the car has had zero issues. The 2019 is even better. Better fuel more features, cleaner design in my opinion.
