That "want" can be a very slippery slope. It's ok to wish for a future with the right partner and wanting it to flourish to something that lasts forever. But, be careful that you're not just in love with the thought of love. People tend to rush into things and blind themselves when in that state of mind. Relationships take work, not everything is perfect, and there will be moments of doubt and anger and it might even cross your mind to end it. Love, unfortunately, isn't a fairytale.

working for it is the fulfilling part though, if you just woke up in one then you wouldn't be invested. i know you're just saying hypothetically it would be nice, but try to think about the process as a part of the eventual reward. getting to know and love someone is one of the absolute best things in life.
